Dog Days of Summer 2016

I was asked to be a DaVinci Dog Artist again this year!  Dog Days of Summer is Therapy Partners annual fundraiser. It was an honor to paint the very handsome Cooper!

2016 GHHS Dog Ball

I was very honored to be one of 3 artists selected to paint fire hydrants for the Greater Huntsville Humane Society's Dog Ball. These hydrants were auctioned off live during the ball and all money raised went to GHHS!

My hydrant was in memory of my Chloe Bella who sadly passed away from kidney failure in September 2015.  I met and adopted Chloe from the first Dog Ball that I attended in 2007. She was my furry inspiration!

The theme of my hydrant was "I Love You to the Moon and Back." One side of the hydrant has the launch of the Saturn V being watched by a group of dogs with a full moon and fire works in the background.  The other side has people and their pups playing in a park as the full moon rises and a shooting star goes by.  Above on the dome, I have the Constellations, Orion and his two dogs Canis Major with Sirius and Canis Minor.

My hydrant sold for $1,500.00!!!
